SCIENCE
Our aim for Science at Stowting CE Primary School is to create opportunities for pupils to explore the world around us and discover how things work. We aim to inspire children to want to know more about their understanding of the world through the scientific disciplines of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. In an ever-changing world, where our children’s future jobs may not even exist yet, it is vital that our children understand how science has already changed their lives and how it may shape their future. Pupils are encouraged to have the confidence to be able to ask questions to cement their scientific understanding of knowledge and skills. Children are encouraged to have a natural curiosity of the world; encourage respect for living organisms and the physical environment as well providing opportunities for critical evaluation of evidence.
