School Uniform - Stowting CEP
The school uniform policy for the school is decided by The Governing Board and it is expected that all

although many items may be purchased more widely. In order to help your child learn to be responsible for their clothing and to prevent lost property mounting up, please ensure that you mark all items of clothing with name tapes - you can order iron on tapes here:
Winter clothing
Dark grey shorts, trousers, navy blue skirt or pinafore
Light blue shirt for Years 1 - 6. Reception children only should wear a light blue polo shirt.
Navy blue V-neck jumper or cardigan emblazoned with the school logo (My Clothing)
Reception children only should wear a navy blue school sweatshirt (My Clothing)
All children in Years 1-6 to wear a tie, with an elasticated version available for Infant children (School Office)
Year 6 children wear a different tie to distinguish them as the seniors (School Office)
Black, navy, grey or white socks
Black/brown sensible shoes (not boots or trainers).
Black or brown sandals are permitted in summer if preferred.
Plain school navy coat and or navy school fleece (My Clothing)
Summer clothing
Grey shorts or blue striped dress (available from many retailers)
Light blue shirt (long or short sleeved)
Black or navy sandals or shoes (with sensible heels).
Wellington Boots
All children require a pair of inexpensive boots in school
P.E Kit:
Plimsolls (indoors) and trainers (outdoor)
Navy sports t-shirt with school logo
Navy shorts,
Plain Navy jogging bottoms
Football boots/shin pads
Swimming
One piece costume or swimming trunks and a towel within a suitable swimming bag.
Jewellery and Hair
Bracelets, necklaces, earrings etc. should not be worn in school. Only small studs should be worn for
pierced ears - please note, that earrings must not be worn in PE lessons. If your child cannot remove them by themselves, they will need to be removed before your child comes to school.
Watches may be worn, but the school cannot be responsible for their safety.
All longer hair should be tied back using a dark blue elasticated hair tie.
Any hairbands worn should also be dark blue in colour.

New book bags and ties are available from the school office.
Second Hand Uniform
We also have a range of second hand uniform items. All items are checked, washed and ironed and
are in very good condition. Uniform sales take place in the school regularly and these will be advertised via email and newsletter.
