In my day to day job I am the Regional Head of Quality Assurance for Givaudan, the Global leader in fragrance and flavour manufacturing.  Within this role, I lead a team across Europe and the Middle East and rely upon maintaining clear alignment to our vision and strategic objectives through excellent communication and teamwork in order to achieve the desired results and performance. I have gained significant experience in Operations, HR, strategic planning, compliance, continuous improvement and leadership development which I believe brings value to the Governing body and ultimately helps the school continue to offer the pupils a safe and enriching education.

Like all parents, I want the best for my children in terms of their education as well as physical and mental wellbeing. The backbone to ensuring that our Head and school leadership team can maintain the extremely high academic standards and ethos of Stowting, as well as realising our children’s full potential, is through effective governance.  

The role of a Parent Governor is a unique and privileged position, one that I take immense pride in and approach with a high level of energy and commitment. Having attended a small primary school myself and having two young children at Stowting, I can appreciate the challenges a smaller school faces and recognise the need for a supportive and strong school community at its heart.
