Year 3/4 (Owls) - Terms 4, 5 and 6

We have started to look at the Tudors!

Our Homework this week (20.4.18) is to find an event that happened between 1700 and 1800 to fit into our "Looking Back Timelines". We need to find the date of the event and come up with a suitable illustration.

We have been learning what makes a creature a VERTEBRATE.

Which of these can you solve?...

Easter Homework: To research one country from the Commonwealth.

You could find out about:

Capital city/cities

Famous buildings

Stamps

Flag

Money

Famous people (living or dead)

Mountains/Deserts

Rivers

The Owls made us all proud with an incredible Easter Production!

Didn't we have a lovely day spent at Westenhanger Castle?

Our Handball Team did fantastically well, winning medals at the Shepway Tournament.
Picture 1

For any of you that have finished building a snowman or are too cold after all the sledging, here is a little of what we would have continued with in Maths this week. Sorry it is a little blurry, but  I don't have a scanner in my igloo!

Year 3:

Song number 1.

Last song

Where is the love?

DJ Hygate worked late into the night and has finished the remix!

And here are the lyrics:

People killin' ,people dyin'
Children hurt, and you hear them cryin'
Can you practice what you preach?
Would you turn the other cheek?
Father, Father, Father help us
Send some guidance from above
'Cause people got me, got me questioning
Where is the love…?
